#LoveTeaching

School dismissal on a Monday...kids are rushing to sports practices, jobs, home.  We teachers are rushing to classrooms!  It is our "designated day" to collaborate after school for an hour.  Several Spanish teachers have decided to use verb karate this semester to ring home the importance of the almighty verb!  One Spanish teacher has invited us "new to the verb karate scene" to her classroom for an informational session.

Her classroom is a buzz with students reviewing to retake a quiz on "stem-changing" verbs!  Teachers are filing in to hear her presentation...and a French teacher has heard some talk of this verb karate and decides to join us!

Let me just try to bring the scene a bit more into your imaginations....

Students talking and reviewing with one another and asking the teacher hosting the verb karate session questions.

Spanish and French teachers sitting among the students, talking and awaiting the verb karate information.

Verb karate teacher going between conversations with us and her students while turning on her smart projector to assist in her presentation.

Students asking for the quiz retake papers, Spanish teacher checking to see that everyone attending is there, presentation begins, students taking and turning in quiz, attendees asking questions.....CHAOS?  Not is you are a teacher!

SEAMLESS!  Nobody is frustrated or fighting to get someone's attention.  Students finish the quiz retake and teachers leave informed on how the verb karate tactic will go down!  Another success in multi-tasking and collaboration between students and teachers!  It's what we do everyday!  And that's why I LoveTeaching!
